nice weather...well, it was!

So, I've been a bad, bad, blogger! It has been super busy and it has just been hard to sit down and do this. You will have to scroll down to check out the others. Lately the weather has been down right awful, dreary, and I have almost forgotten what the sun looks like. But a few weeks ago when I intended to write this blog the weather was unseasonably nice! In fact down right beautiful and perfect! That week we spent a lot of time after school walking and even a Sunday afternoon. Presley was still recovering from her ear infection so we made sure to cover her ears up and ended up busting out the cute puppy hat, just to be safe. She loves, loves, loves being outside and walking in the park. She is just so content and looks around at everything. She pulls herself up to the edge of the stroller as if she isn't sitting up quite enough by itself. We had fun walking and playing with Molly. I can't wait for the weather to get nicer and a few weeks of Spring to come so we can go outside more before the dreaded summer heat makes its appearance.

my girl, stylin...you can't leave home with out your accessories! haha

Random cuteness and a little sarcasm

So instead of trying to catch up on a months worth of blogging I thought I would just pick some of my favorite recent pics and share those. My girl is sooooo busy!! She is constantly on the move and wants to be constantly active and entertained. She is pretty much crawling. She has perfected her daddy's technique of low crawling all she needs is a set of cami's and some war paint! haha Also hence most pictures now you see something in her mouth. After much crabbiness we have now cut two bottom teeth. ahhhh, sweet relief...well temporarily before we start working on the others. She is also really into eating now. She is taking more in everyday and definitely likes her fruits more than veggies! Sometimes you can't shovel it in fast enough! enjoy the pics!

she loves this soft book! It must taste really good :) also loving her cute new hat! thanks Grammy!!
aren't these the most beautiful bright eyes you've ever seen!?! Pleeeease stay blue!!

playing around! she is too funny and gets so tickled at the simplest things

"help! I'm stuck! this is where the sarcasm comes in...can you believe this look. I was apparently interrupting what she was watching on the tv!

now this just looks down right mischievous...but I can't resist this face! It's just too cute!

Humpty Dumpty Sat on the Wall...

Most of you already know, but for those that do not a few weeks back we made our first, and probably not our last, trip to the E.R. I know I am a few weeks late but since I am keeping this blog as a chronicle of Presley's 1st few years, I figured I couldn't leave this out. Presley had already had a tough weekend. She had battled her first ear infection and cold. Poor thing was miserable. She was feeling better and had been on the antibiotic so we decided to go to church. After a morning bath her daddy was trying to put on her clothes (which she hates and usually fights!) which she was doing so he decided to go with a short sleeve and less constricitng outfit. He turned around to grab one and my active little monkey sat up leaned forward and fell head first off the changing table. I am so glad that I was not there to see it, but definitely heard the cries. Needless to say after some frantic calls and lots of tears...some on our part, we ended up going to the E.R. just to be checked out. I have to say I was very skeptical about the E.R., especially after our last experience with Carl, but it wasn't bad at all. They have a separate pediatric E.R. and they had us in and out in a few hours. They looked her over, did a CAT scan (absolutely NOT her favorite thing) and said she was just fine and to watch her. He said they are like bouncy balls! Wasn't quite sure how to react to that one. Later we found out most people we know have had some kind of fall with their babies and they all turned out ok, so we feel pretty confident! lol But her daddy was a little torn up about it for a few days. Poor guy felt horrible. I'm sure we will end up here many more times during P's childhood years.

keeping busy while waiting, we didn't even get a chance to put clothes on her so grabbed her favorite blankie and her booties.
